On this day, students will be introduced to the Start-It Challenge. Students may already have an idea of a problem they want to solve or they may get inspiration from a select number of companies that will pitch the problems/challenges which they would like the students to solve. The objective of the challenge is to (i) foster entrepreneurial thinking, (ii) spur innovation, and (iii) nurture problem-solving skills.
Selected companies are invited to pitch a maximum of three problems/ challenges each. This will be followed by a Q&A session. During the event, there will be an innovation career fair where companies will also showcase career opportunities within their firm.
Students who create the best solutions have the chance to win the following:
